Meet Alex & Michelle

We are humbled to serve as the 2026-2027 YCC President and Vice President! As leaders of Yale’s undergraduate student government, we take our responsibility incredibly seriously. We are committed to fiercely advocating for the student body and helping all students participate in creating our community on campus.

Hi, I’m Alex William Chen, the Yale Student Body President. I’m from West Chester, Pennsylvania — a town just outside Philadelphia. I’m a junior in Morse College studying History and Political Science, and I’m the proud son of immigrants. You can reach me at alex.chen.awc42@yale.edu.
