I am a proud Chicago native and a junior pre-med in Pierson majoring in Global Affairs. As a former YCC policy director and college representative, I'm excited to take on the Chief of Staff role and serve as the inaugural chair of the YCC Women's Forum. Outside of student government, I am a vice president of my sorority, and I organize a Latin-language tournament for high school Classics students. As an Arabic Language and Mideast Studies Fellow, I plan to write my senior thesis on medical humanitarianism in Syrian refugee camps, focusing particularly on women's reproductive health ethics and norms. Some of my favorite pastimes include making and eating desserts, hiking glaciers with my sister, watching Scandal and Madam Secretary, and playing absurdly complicated board games with friends.
